I played a cragheart to level 9 and it pretty much went how you've imagined. Started out ranged, then became heavily obstacle focused, and ended up being a melee character. Creating obstacles for true damage and then pushing enemys into one with heaving swing, while destroying another adjacent for +3 made for some pretty high DPS.I’ve created build guides for all the Gloomhaven starting characters. Growth is a trap, move 4 and low initiative is what cragheart lacks. I play on the hardest difficulty and Explosive Punch is just so much better. Sentient Growth looks good, but does too little on higher difficulty. Just my opinion.
