Coasted into a parking lot and pulled codes truck has code u18a2 loss of comunication with fuel pump driver control module. The truck is a 2018 gmc 2500 l5p. The truck has a crank no start situation. I just took delivery on a 2500 L5P. according to the capacity charts on gm-techlink the oil capacity has been 10 qts. on both 2019/2020 even though the filters changed. The filter on the 2019 L5D is the smaller filter just like the 2020 L5P and it takes 10 qts. as well. I took it to Chevy (GM) Dealer for relearning per actuator replacement instructions. They used MDI2 GDS Software to conduct the requested relearn, however, the initial "counts" show 287 exceeding the max value of 285 per the GDS software, so now code P100B displays with CEL at ignition on, engine on.

Doing a double drain is a waste of money personally. Change it to your fluid of choice and change it again 25k later. If you're going to deviate from Dex-IV pick and TES 668 fluid and sleep happy.
