Steam deck fedex.

There are steam decks that shipped through UPS. Im already more comforted by UPS. They use UPS for RMAs but initial shipments are with FedEx. I am a UPS worker that work in Chicago which is 40mins to 1hr away from Carol Steams. But I wanted to post something interesting that I Had noticed.Packages usually get stuck there for a week or more. I got a tracking number and it says it arrived at the Fed ex location in Illinois on 10/9/22. No updates since then, said it's supposed to arrive 10/14/22 by end of day. FedEx refuses to deliver to my building most days and when it does, things get stolen. I’m kind of worried I won’t ever see my Deck due to FedEx’s incompetence in my area, but the fact that I can’t ship it to a FedEx location for pick up is a real slight on Valve’s part imo. I’m really excited to get my Deck (as we all are).

I rather pay an extra 30-40 and have dhl promise to deliver in four days and actually deliver in two days. Dhl alway I mean always out preforms usps, FedEx and ups when I buy something online the only thing similar in speed to dhl is Amazon’s prime delivery service. My steam deck was initially estimated to arrive 7/7/22 (tomorrow), but it got updated to arrive 7/6/22 (today). It didn't arrive today, and now is updated to 7/8/22 (Friday). FedEx is notorious for this now, and it doesn't help that the box the deck ships in has logos on the side, and a label, explaining *exactly* what is inside the box. This makes deciding what to steal extremely easy for FedEx thieves. Valve, what is u doin. Ship the decks in nondescript boxes. Don't put on the label "Steam Deck 512GB".Over 99% of steam decks are delivered with zero problems. Take the day off, stand ready with a bat or 12 Guage and wait for it to arrive. I would install doorbell camera just for this alone, so if it is stolen you have proof. I would get a doorbell camera. If you can prove it was stolen, they will replace it.
