Sep 8, 2019 · I have not seen reports of auto stop failure to restart on gen9 cars when the car has no other serious symptoms. Being a 2018 I'd take it to a dealer and have them diagnose. My guess is a sensor issue, battery issue, loose ground wire, or ECM problem. I believe there are even a couple bulletins and a service update for the ECM in the 18s.
