I was farming different gear pieces and exotic caches were only really a bonus. I cannot beat the Hunters at level 100 after like 10th times, then I randomly go to countdown and set targeted loot to backpack, voila I get Memento afterwards. 3 months, then two in 20 minutes. On legendary I got it quickly. A raw weapon damage that is additive to those gained from cores, weapon rolls and stuff like that. Let’s do the comparison on an all red build with backpack talent Vigilance. Build’s Weapon Damage: 140%. Memento at max stacks: +60%. Total Damage Increase: 140% + 60% = 200% [1 + 200% = 3] Build’s Weapon Damage: 140%.
The Hunters build ideally requires two exotics, the memento backpack and the scorpio shotgun. Until you get those, you can run any backpack with the talent adrenaline rush and any smg or shotgun combination as a weapon. The build is 4pc HF (mask, holster, gloves and knees) withe 2 of them having crit chance and 2 having crit damage.

It's definitely not the Memento. Look up Division 2 Refer a Friend program. It's gave you the Black and Yellow Hunter Outfit, a backpack trophy, and the blueprint for the Stinger LMG. You refer someone else it gave you another backpack trophy, and finally 1 more person referred and the final backpack trophy.

I suspect each of them only drops with specific criteria, but what that is I am not sure. I mostly do strongholds in hard/challenging.The Memento Backpack features the "Kill Confirmed" Talent: Enemies you kill drop a trophy upon death. Collecting trophies provides both a short and long-term buff. Currently backpacks are targeted loot for Capitol Hill. Doc Simpson or something appears very very early in the mission. Is it possible to just kill him, reset the mission, kill him again etc to farm the Memento on Challenging? Seems like I'd get a lot more bosses/per minute that way than playing the mission through normally.
