I found one in the CN classifieds for $225 a few months ago. Those have top-shelf glass and longer focal lengths than those short-tube 80s you mentioned, and the views are stunning. Jupiter and Saturn will still be small through an eyepiece but you can visually resolve cloud bands around Jupiter.

So some people might have bought them cheap years ago but eventually they fell out of favor, not enough ER like Morpheus, maybe not as sharp as TV, not as wide as HDC, etc.
