The staging folder has to be on the drive where the game loads its mods from. In 99% of games that _is_ the game folder, but BG3 loads its mods from the Documents folder (which is usually on C:). So the suggestion of putting it on C: is correct.As a mod creator and mod user I recommend not using Vortex. It might be good with mods which are compatible to updates, but from what I have seen is that the majority of mod creators do not bother with compatibility like that.
