I really would just Google their questions before asking them. tl;dr: Gshade dev went on an ego trip, added malware to the mod, and subsequently got banned from Github. Gshade is dead.Short version is: the dev put malware in it. Now we don't trust them anymore. You don't have to do anything you don't want to do. GShade will continue to work. I would say that, ethically, it is probably the correct choice to stop using GShade based on today's events. More than ethically, it's just not safe.
