These are 4ohm speakers that will dip below 3ohms. You might also consider used 9's which can be had for around $5800 w/a used CC-5 for about $2400. A used 20T V2 runs at $19000. You could get the used 9's, CC-5 and the Mac amp for less than the 20T and it would be a real knockout setup for music and movies.
The McIntosh equipment is great but is very expensive IMO based on the quality of what you get. That C50 preamp is great, but at $6500, there are other units I would pick first.
