Probably the most enjoyable turn-base combat I've experienced. I have a lot of experience with D&D 3rd edition, thanks to Neverwinter Nights (or rather, NWN's implementation of D&D 3e), and Solasta is my first exposure to the 5th edition rules. Half-Elves got a huge boost and Humans are now the mediocre pick.

So, 3 pillars of D&D: Combat, exploration and social interactions. Combat is a wash for me. They both are great, and while I like Solasta a tiny bit more, it's mostly because I've more time invested in that systsm. Exploration is so much quicker in Solasta, but I do like BG3's 3 dimensional exploration a titch more than Solasta's. WotR>Deadfire>Solasta, imo.
