Acetone is by far the best choice when it comes to effectiveness. But there are also many disadvantages to it such as; dry skin and nails, peeling nails, and dry cuticles. I've been using 100% acetone for quite some time and it completely removes nail polish, glitter, and even stubborn red and black nail polishes.

I use a coarse nail file to rough up the surface really well, then I cut thin cotton pads into triangles, soak them in Gelish Nail Remover, place a cotton triangle on each nail, then put the little plastic clips on each finger.

I use OPI’s Nail Envy. It’s 100% the reason why I’m able to grow my nails out at all. And a bottle lasts a really long time - I notice that it starts to be less effective at around 1/4 of a bottle left (by which I mean, when I use it at a base coat, my nail polish chips more quickly with an old bottle than a new one), but getting to that point takes a while for me.
