I added Lion's Claw to mine in my first play through. Had good range and poise breaking, meaning I could get 2 or 3 solid hits off on basically any enemy except shardbearers, and get away before they got up. It lets you tank big hits too with the temporary super armor, avoiding a lot of knock downs if you time it right.
