Comparing the 39A to the 9422, they are just different. I have both and the 9422 is the clear winner as far as finish, and it is reliable and functioning is very smooth, and has great sights. The 39A has qualities of it's own.

I’ve got several 39a’s with S,U,V,AA prefixes and the pins from Wisner’s are a match. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk.

It works perfectly, the only modification was to open the cartridge loading slot on the magazine tube a wee bit to clear the slightly larger diameter.

I can see a mark and indentation, but it's not enough to fire. Sometimes it happens three times in a row. I cycle the action by hand, ejecting the old round and a new round goes in.
