muljostpho Oct 11, 2019 @ 10:15pm. I procrastinated getting around to all of the challenges (aside from a single run of the Basic Challenge) until I was nearing the end of normal difficulty. Final run of the Troll Challenge took me about 23-24 minutes at that point in the game. (Other runs before that went even quicker.)Halfshell Feb 9, 2020 @ 3:08pm. Got around to playing more and can now finish up the last Blind challenge within 2 hrs. Thoughts: Gold GPS from Diggers should be hidden. Use NGU Injector when you don't want to babysit the game to do 30 minute rebirth runs, to snipe items, etc. It's overly grindy for the sake of being overly grindy. The final phase of the game, Sadistic, is an unbalanced mess with no new features compared to the previous phases. It will likely stay that way, so definitely utilize Injector then ... Get better equipment. Those are the big three -- if you even have equipment from 2D Universe, it should be fairly trivial to do the first few 24 hour challenges in 4-8 hours.

What drew me in the most was all the really cool and different gear that you can get. Normal mode gear is pretty meh, but evil and sad have more features so more types of gear, and they stuff is just overall cooler looking. Worst part is questing, challenges, guff runs (though I haven't needed to do that yet, but I know what they entail).

If I couldn't do the challenge without NGU, then it means my base stats and maybe gear needs to be better. So that's just something fun to do if you like to figure things out. Otherwise, I used a document called Pokie's NGU Idle Challenge Guide V1.03 but I can't seem to find a link to it now. My Google-fu is lacking in getting back to it.

Troll challenge 3. Currently maxed out beardverse set, working on UUG rings, and slowly grinding out beard/digger/ngu levels. When should i go for Troll 3 for the higher levels in fruits?
