I pulled the front tires off and measured for the alignment and it seems ok. Can't find any broken parts, bent parts, welds, no loose nuts (factory paint pen still in tact). Then, replace that grease with a liberal amount of All-temperature, white lithium grease. That should help. If your angle sensor was/is bad, it wouldn't allow the shift motor to spin at all.
