the online/offline thing is unlikely an issue with google home. it much more likely an issue with the devices themselves, or the "works with google" interface, aka, wemo, smarthings, c by ge, or whatever it may be. it could also very well be your home network. thats not to say its not also an issue with google home.
It will go offline depending on wich network nod the camera is connected too.
