Honda odyssey display not working.
2224 posts · Joined 2002. #3 · Aug 16, 2002. Honda has officially recalled the "multiplex" unit which controls the dashboard lights. It had to be replaced twice on my 99EX. Second time I made a big stink over it. The part was on national backorder. Few weeks later, I received the official recall letter in the mail.
Take out the in dash mounted box to gain access to the 2 screws holding the rear of the radio assembly. You may need to remove the whole radio and with the key on loosen the screws holding display and the radio base. Move the two around with the screws loose till the radio starts working and put all back with out those 2 rear screws.Check the upper left corner of the upper screen, if you see "Rear" followed by a crossed out speaker symbol, then the RES is ON and the rear speakers are deactivated since the rear & front inputs are different. Either go into the settings and turn the speakers back on or just set both front and rear inputs to the same source. That should solve it.16 posts · Joined 2018. #1 · May 25, 2023. Sorry for the years late response. So we found mice had chewed through some wires in our car. There were 3 different nests. Our insurance covered all of the repairs. They had to take out all of the interior seats, carpets and plastic and re-wire all of the wiring. It was like a $3,500 repair.2000 Honda Odyssey. You may have tried this already, but I believe you need to go into the Setup screen, select Day mode manually (on the screen) then adjust the brightness up to where you want using the screen's brightness up selection. Then select Night mode manually (on the screen) and adjust brightness up the same way.

Navigation system problems. There should be a navi system booklet that came with your Odyssey. It's not too much help when things go wrong, however. One thing you can do is to eject the disk from the DVD drive. Open the door and then push the button to eject the disk and then reinsert it.It was $50 for the part and $20 for shipping. The touch portion of your screen is either broken or disconnected with the NAV DVD Unit. The fact that the sound button does not pop up the settings on the screen also means something else other than just the touch issue is up as well. I am sorry but I do not know how to debug this.
