At level 5 you get 2d12 + 2d8 + 34 assuming cast summon beast, use planar warrior, and make 2 sharpshooter musket attacks. (average of 56). That's better then crossbow expert start of 2d6 + 1d4 + 6 assuming 2 attacks from crossbow and Favored foe (average of 15.5). At level 4 get sharpshooter for 2d6 + 26 + 1d4 (average of 35.5).You could go a bit more interesting perhaps though to capitalize on the Close-range nature of the Horizon walker. Normal Longbow Ranger, Sharpshooter and Archery is fairly self-explanatory. Dex honestly is the wrong match for melee horizen walker imo if you want to maximize. The subclass bonus action is amazing and that eating every bonus action makes two weapon fighting melee impossible so you are heavily handicapped going dex.
