It was your grandfather’s car that he gave to you so now it is your car. He doesn’t have any say on who you give it to and he has no rights to give it to his son because it is your car. Your grandfather gave you that car because he wanted to you to have it not your father. This has nothing to do with that though. You are within your rights to keep the money and get rid of all his possessions. You’re also not even remotely obligated to be the bigger person and set things right. Even if you choose to keep all the money and sell the house, you’re still not exactly an asshole for doing so.
