Here is the scenario. Xfinity’s Xi6 wireless (no coax) TV boxes do not play nice with personal modems, they’ll give XRE-10007 errors every time you turn the TV on. I don’t know all the details, but Xfinity tells me I need their modem because these boxes use a Moca connection.
