I have a couple of Belgian Browning A5's , a Sweet 16 and a LW 20, as well Remington Sportsman 48's in 12 and 16 ga, so I'm familiar with the long recoil aspect of the gun. If you have a Remington Sportsman, it is basically a Remington 1100 and has a rubber gas seal "O" ring on the magazine tube. There is a shallow recess on the magazine tube where it goes.
