My PC isn't the issue it's decent enough, I actually find Sonic 3 Complete to feel nicer because of this as well due to retroarchs runahead feature making latency a non-issue with the game, but obviously Complete doesn't have widescreen, the remastered audio and I don't think it has the drop dash ability either.
