Take the tension off the adjustment screw first (catch the spring - it will want to fly away), and the pin slips out with barely a tap. Heavily armed old man. They even have a no drill and tap rail for the GP100. That should allow you to mount nearly any red dot sight. I was looking at it myself but all the good red dots are more than I want to pay.
