The Harbor Freight kit is a beginner kit for solar newbies. We got one with 3 panels, supposed to produce 45 watts. Now, that 45 watts is supposed to be on a bright sunny day, with the solar panels propped at the exact angle for our latitude, and aimed exactly perpendicular to the sun. We got 37 watts. Truth is, we're lazy.
