But its like comparing two whole different designs. The when the 1894 Win was birthed, it was designed for the mid length rounds, 30 30 etc, same as the 1893 Marlin. The 1894 Marlin of course was designed for the short now near obsolete rounds like the 25 20 and similar length rounds.
