What doesn't change is Laurel = full of shit because Laurel = psychopath = villain. Also, AK has alluded to it a couple times, even the pilot about how well they think they know people closest to them, and later, complimented Laurel while telling them to watch out, the quiet ones are usually the most dangerous ;-p.

The tragedy (in the classical Greek sense of the word) in Connor’s story is that he has been involved just for “bad luck”... an adverse destiny . He was chosen for the right reason it seems (and he was the only one) but nonetheless he become involved in this mess.
