On the back of the engine there is a sensor that will have a brown wire and a yellow. If you ground the yellow wire while the engine is running it should slow down. That lets you know that the sensor is bad or the t-stats are stuck open. On the carb adjustment, turn the screws counter clockwise for richer and clockwise for leaner.

It has some sort of motion sensor. The "low oil" alarm is for when the oil resevoir is low. I would immediately mix the fuel to 50::1, in case the no oil alarm is accurate, until you fix the motor. I replaced the top casting that has three seals and removed the bottom nut and casting to change the entire unit out.
