I like to casually farm the legend lost sectors since they were introduced last season but for the past two weeks I never got an exotic to drop from my 20-25 runs. If it takes you 3 minutes to do legend and 8 to do master then master is not worth it. If it takes 4 minutes to do legend and 4:20 to do master then master is better. Master lost sectors do have a higher drop rate, but because legend can be run much faster it works out to be faster to farm legend instead of master.Last night I buckled down and decided to farm legendary lost sectors. Back when you could blow through a lost sector in a minute or two it was less of an issue, but now even an experienced player with a good build is going to spend 5+ minutes a run, and when drop rates are this low, you'll typically have an hour pass before you'll even see a single exotic piece, never mind the one you're farming for.

Legend Lost Sector Drop Rates are Painful . I am a Hunter main who is only just now working on getting Necrotic Grips for my poor neglected Warlock. I've played the 1300 Lost Sector for just over two hours, have been running it in under five minutes, flawless, and killing all champs. The only new drops in 5 runs were blue gloves and legendary boots. It took me 17 on my warlock to get necrotic grip but I got icefall mantle on my 4th run as Titan.
