The 500 is a good solid gun, not expensive to buy or own. Easy to get parts for and a lot of add ons, accessories, modifications, upgrades, etc etc available. Also I think easy to clean and maintain. I picked a new Benelli SuperNova a nd really like it; the only negatives on the Nova are less capacity and no lug for the bayonet. I do like the Nova having an AR style stock as I like having a PG on my stock. I would like to add a light to one of these.
