Dont really need any head work, they flow better than PSD heads. The head bolts or studs are a weak point, the heads will lift above 10 or 12 psi in short order. Recently Wes or somebody floated the idea that 7.3 head gaskets were stronger than the 6.9 because of the filled coolant channel.

AFAIK the 7.3's all use the same filter head, with the same fuel heater in it. If the post you picked is the one for the range the DNE-2 is in, nothing will happen. If the DNE-2 was in the other range you will hear the motor pulling the shift mechanism. Move the positive jumper to the other electric post on the DNE-2 and you will hear it move to the other range.
