I am going to assume only a software update sometime in the future will actually fix this Non-radar park assist is indeed unreliable. It says STOP at inconsistent intervals despite parking in the same spots each day. The degradation message is also likely to remain each time the vehicle is powered on until they release an OTA update that improves it fleet wide. I interpret it as “this feature is still in beta”.
