If you know your VA's station number you can look up the pay scale in the first section or you can look up the state in the section below. Grade 01 = Nurse I. Grade 02 = Nurse II and so on. Nurse I, Level 2 pay starts at Step 03 and Level 3 starts at Step 05. The salary they offered was based on the Jan 2021 pay rate. But apparently there were at least a couple raises last year that weren't reflected in either the Title 38 pay tables nor in the offer letter from HR. Between the 2022 raise and the 2021 raises we didn't know about, she's making ~$12k more than on her offer letter.
