Dec 20, 2019 · Sometimes joining works, sometimes it doesn't. For example, switch 1 can join a game hosted on switch 2, but it sometimes refuses to work in a vice-versa setup. Reset the network hub, reset the network for each switch (clear network, rejoin), restart game... etc. It's just doomed to failure. I FOUND a semi-consistent FIX. When you invite your friend to your game don't leave the friend invite screen until they join the party. Sometimes there isn't a reason you can't join a friend, the game lets you in when it feels like it. Check your connection speed to see if it has a possible factor in the problem. Everyone has the issue of not being able to join every once in a while but for me it usually works. Try reporting this issue to 505 and hope it gets fixed soon.
