I did it mainly with countdown (challenging) targeted loot backpack. You will see a lot of acostas bullsh*t backpacks. Every 2 matches you have enough countdown points to buy a exotic cache. For variety, Summit with friends farming floor 10 is also a good option. If that's get boring too, missions with targeted loot backpack.

If you play this season enough to get the Hornet Season Manhunt mission (if you didnt do it in season 3) you have a guaranteed drop of either Memento or Backfire. 90 levels, 12 weeks, 84 days. It's 1.07 level per day. It's a single heroic mission per day. Less than 10 mins for Lincoln including launching the game. Currently backpacks are targeted loot for Capitol Hill. Doc Simpson or something appears very very early in the mission. Is it possible to just kill him, reset the mission, kill him again etc to farm the Memento on Challenging? Seems like I'd get a lot more bosses/per minute that way than playing the mission through normally.

Hey. I just got one to drop by farming one of the boss levels on heroic. I did level 10. Once the boss spawns kill the boss but leave other NPCs alive. Open the map and go to the lobby. Enter the elevator and you’re back at the boss floor. If you wipe after killing the boss still travel back to the lobby to reset the floor.

Set your target loot to backpack. I have even once had two exotic backpack dropped in the extraction area. If RNG doesn't roll in your favor, then the Countdown credit can be used to buy Exotic Caches at the Countdown Vendor Station. If you can run General Anderson solo it's a fast exotic farm. I have had 2 drop so far. It allows a skill build that can do weapon damage, it allows a DPS build with a shield that doesn't break in a second and it allows a tank to do gun damage. It is a GREAT backpack, the one downside (for me) is that I can't get a Legendary Build put together that works for me, but that is my shitty shield gameplay. 2.
