Titewad is an EXTREMELY fast powder, and loading it into high pressure pistol cartridges (9mm, .40, etc...) is very dangerous. I have reloaded 7/8 and 9/8 loads and they work fine with same components and powders, but I favor the 1 oz, 8's, 7-1/2 or duplex loads, 50/50 mix. I have also found E3 and Promo excellent powders when I could not get my favorite Hodgdon powders.

Yep the Hodgdon website shows that 16.2 grains is the max load you can shoot. Your 1 1/8 oz. load should be at 1,145 fps as well. No 1,200 fps loads with your Titewad powder!!! You should have purchased Titegroup powder if you wanted to load 1 1/8 oz. loads. Titewad is better for loading one oz. loads.
